If Chytil can bounce back from nearly being retired, Kakko really has no excuse. He does not look good at all. Hopefully he finds something in the first 20 games or so but he's looking more and more to be a bust.

really wanted to see kakko have the type of game chytil had/ very underwhelmed and yeah it's the first game and yeah that lip service drury gave him was probably just proper team speak, but he looked awful

It's not fair to call him a bust. He will have a long NHL career. The word you're looking for is disappointment. He is looking more and more like a disappointing draft pick.

Mancini looked awesome. Size, skills… I’m actually excited for him to break camp but doesn’t have a spot at the moment.

No, not worried. But, a five year pro should be able to stand out against prospects and training camp hopefuls. Seeing him "struggle" in a game that should be a confidence booster is not exactly bringing goosebumps, either.

If anyone is in the city this week and wants to go to a preseason game please let me know. I will not be using the tickets and will gladly give them away if you want them.

Always tough to get much from these games, positive or negative. Obviously Chytil looked good and healthy which is a major plus. As for Kakko, he will be a 3rd liner until he proves otherwise. Vesey and Brodinsky did really stand out too much either...but our expectations for those guys are bottom 6.

is the general consensus that Fubo is the best live tv streaming service to use as a sports fan (who needs msg networks) ? I'm pricing out options and having to pay for the new gotham app sucks
