Took two posts to take a personal jab at Torts. Is this a record for this board? - WhiskeyMan
It’s pre season as well, who cares. The people with logic know that the Flyers in the past would normally run a split squad in one night and crazy as it may sound, any head coach can’t be in two places at once. These types of fans have a leg to stand on in the regular season but not exhibition.
I know Torts mentioned Michkov being winded, gassed, tired or whatever he said. This might not be a popular opinion but I’d like to see Michkov be the driver of his line, not a passenger. I’d like to see him get more touches because it is pre season and the opponents are weak right now. I wanna see more of what he’s capable of right now.

That is exactly what they have been doing. Each game he played his TOI was more than any other player. He will get his touches... has already.

I felt like Frost was the driver for the line on Sunday. Before anyone gets sensitive and thinks I’m beating up on Frost, I just want to see Michkov be more of a focus.

Glad to see Kolosov finally found some sense. - MBFlyerfan
Pretty good compromise from his perspective TBH... if something happens to Feds/Ersson in the short term he gets to be in the NHL. If not, he'll be free to go home.
Flyers don't get him developing in NA for the balance of the season in all likelihood.

Some weird rumors coming out from morning skate. Sounds likes Michkov is changing the spelling of his name to MEEEEchkov...to provide more focus on him.
So I guess Attard is just staying with the team until Sunday to not embarrass him by cutting him with the ECHL guys? Doesnt appear that they are going to give him another game at this rate.

I wonder if the Flyers will manage his workload much like Anaheim did with Leo Carlsson last season. He was playing like 1 in 3 games for half the season and then nightly. I wouldnt be surprised if Michkov is tired. Torts training camp is intense and unlike everyone else on the roster, he didnt know what to expect. Neither did Luchenko but he just seems like a Freak. Guy is very conditioned for a young player. Think I heard on OConnors podcast that the guy built a gym in his house during COVID when all his friends were playing Video games.

Is the deal that he gets called up and stays up?
Or gets called up and sits the bench?
Or gets called up and gets some games?
Was probably worst part of the video lol So boring. Would have liked to see more front office meeting type stuff - xShoot4WarAmpsx
Michkov looks like he's never seen a golf club before. Boring game. I don't get the appeal. I guess it's an activity they can do where there's little likelihood that they'll get injured? I suppose it's better than playing video games.
