Seeing how skilled Michkov is makes me even angrier about the TK contract. They can’t get out of their own way. He is the type of talent you build around not use to supplement a wretched core of players. Time to watch this kid piss away his talent here |

I didn't see any of the game tonight, but I did see a highlight of the game winner. I have mentioned this before and I'll say it again. Michkov kind of reminds me of a Peter Forsberg type player. No, I'm not saying he will be at that level just yet, but he seems to see the ice at a superior level that very few players can match. The question will be how he handles the physicality when the games count. As I said a month ago, if he has 20 goals and 30 assists this season I would consider it a success, but I could certainly see him surpassing those numbers. Luchanko could probably be a 3rd line center in the NHL now, but best to let him have one more year at the junior level. I could see him being a true second line center when he fills out. It's kind of funny that he wears #17. The second coming of Brindy with more speed? |

That’s what you gathered from the game? These boards are insufferable. |

Brindy was a hell of a lot more than a 3rd line center. Luchanko will be sent back. Seems like a player that’s just developing quicker than most at his age. He has a limited ceiling like you mentioned probably a 3rd liner |

If the Flyers still had Cutter I would agree with you but they don't
Taking away TK would put a lot of pressure on MM. Who else do they have that you would consider a legitimate offensive threat? Who else can carry the puck into the o zone? Who else would the other team really have to worry about?
You want all that pressure on a 19 year old kid who is new to the league and new to the country?
The only issue I have is that TKs contact is about 3 years too long and he can't be moved to aquire assets to help the team.

Way too early to be bringing up Brindy. Until Clarke got frustrated with BrindAmour for getting injured and traded him, he scored 593 points in 621 games for the Flyers.

The Crazy happenstance of Flyers history is that the Flyers chose to hold on to Brindy in 2 BLOCKBUSTER trades. The trade for Lindros and the potential trade for Brendan Shanahan but eventually traded him for Primeau |

I said that he could probably be a 3rd line center now, and he could be a true #2 center when he fills out and gets more experience. He doesn't seem to have the skill set based on what I've seen to be #1 center material, but who knows. |

This team isn’t finishing anywhere close to drafting in the top 10.
Hello Mr Team with a top 5 pick. Will you trade us your pick for picks 17, 21, and 27? No? Ok talk to you later! |

how do you figure? This team still stinks. The Boston C team last night wasn’t an NHL club and we had how many guys going? They also struggled a bit with a very vanilla islanders lineup last week. Look at the east alone, outside of Colombus and Montreal, you could argue every team is better than them. |

disagree. lets see it play out.
That being said it will be funny hearing how hard danny is trying to get a top pick for the 2nd year in a row. Cant wait for it. |

There sure are a lot of stupid people on here this morning.
How can you NOT be happy with the Flyers' performance last night?
This is not a "top contender" type of hockey team.......yet. But it sure is looking like they're heading that way.
Preseason is meant to see how far your prospects have progressed, not blowing teams out in every game.
Geez.... |

I'd guess 4 to 5 years from now.
The trash will be gone, we'll have another set of prospects coming up, our top talent will have experience under their belts, and hopefully our cap situation will be in a good spot. Heck, we might even have a few top-tier free agents on the team. (*gasp*)
It's OK to root for them until then, unless you're just a bandwagon kind of fan, in which case, be negative, no skin off of my back.

Show me a person that isn’t pleased with Michkov? The Flyers performance last night? What was the flyers performance last night? Michkov was great and coots had a gutsy fight. That was it. I’ll show you an idiot, the guy who said they headed towards contention 😂 |
