Saros save percentage of only .875 is the biggest reason Nashville is struggling. Stamkos and Marchessault are not prime time stars. Josi and Forsberg both finished with more points than either last season. Nashville leads the league in shots/game and positive shot differential per game. The idea the other players are being lazy watching two past their prime "stars" is simply false.

Agreed. Stamkos was never a great 5v5 player. Still one of the most lethal shots in the league, but also very predictable.

Also, one cannot discount the loss of McDonagh on the back end. He might be getting older, but he ate a ton of tough minutes for the Preds the last couple of seasons.

Saros will regain his form and they'll be in the playoffs. GS5

McDonagh ask to be traded back to Tampa Bay as I understand it. What was the reason he wanted out? He was the backbone of the team not Josi as most want to believe. I still don't understand letting Hinote go and then getting Hendrickson.
