I thought this post summed up Jimmy quite well. It's from the poster "Field Marshal" on FanSided...
I find it rich that you're trying to play the victim card here. If you want to be considered a credible writer, respecting your readers is required. You don't do that. Quite often, you use your pieces to mock the opinions of commenters which is juvenile and unprofessional. You claim to value the opinions of others, yet you descend into insults and personal attacks when you're challenged on your work. It's childish. Part of being a mature writer (and person in general) is having the ability to accept constructive criticism and apply it to your work. You refuse to do this, continually repeating your claims, which displays a total inability and unwillingness for you to grow as a writer.
This is a fan site, but when you're anything but objective - even when you state you are. In the past, you've actually tried to argue that Draisaitl is an "undeserving" candidate for the Hart Trophy. He outscored every other NHL player this season, an impressive accomplishment considering the depth of talent in the league. Instead, you've claimed that Matthews is a worthier nominee, despite him not having finished first in any offensive category. When you make claims like these, instead of presenting numerous arguments to support your belief, there's only one or two and the "facts" you lean on are based on certain situations, like 5v5, or projections like expected goals, rather than actual goals scored. This completely lacks credibility.
You would likely find more positive feedback to your pieces if you took blinders off and acknowledged some very simple truths that many readers have tried sharing with you, but in your usual, arrogant way, you dismiss any critical replies. Personally, I think you're an incredibly insecure writer. When you wrote for The Hockey Writers, you were quite often challenged on your views and just like on this site, you maintained an aura of egotism when anything you state is critiqued or questioned.
I'd like to be an optimist and believe that you'd take any respectful criticism directed your way to heart, but you'll very likely prove my point in replying with a juvenile response, or just outright ignore this. If you truly wish to evolve as a writer, James, consider what many readers critique in your writing and if you have the courage, commit to some self-reflection in order to improve and be better. - gergeswillems
Very well written indeed, but Tanner's grandiosity makes him rise above all criticism no matter how spot on it is...!

I'm laughing uncontrollably that you waste so much of your time here. Like seriously man, thanks for the early morning laugh. Now get a life. Something something Trump.
