Last month, you had Meier as an E4 to NJ. Today, the Blues are the new favourite at a rating of E3-4. So did NJ get downgraded from an E4 and hence the Blues are now the favourite? I guess the other explanation is this rating system is a bit arbitrary?
On November 7 you reported that NYI had extreme interest in Horvat, but the window to make that deal was just a few days. Here we are 51 days later and it's still possible?
Also, on November 18 your sources noted that Chychrun would be traded within the week. 8 teams were scouting him. Coyotes want to move him before he gets hurt again. So it's been 6 weeks now without a trade. Maybe the NHL vetoed a few deals behind the scenes.
There’s a less than zero percent chance Kane goes to NJ not sure why you keep pushing that trash, Fitz has said time and time again that he isn’t giving away top prospects/picks for a rental player

If you haven’t figured it out already, this guy, there’s no closer to having real sources than the security supervisor at you local mall then I don’t know what to tell you. The whole (e4) stuff is pure nonsense. An uneducated hunch at best. This site provides nothing more than pure entertainment for the avid hockey fan

Here is an explanation from the FAQ section...
What is the E-System (e1, e2, e3, etc.)?
The E-System was devised with the intelligent hockey fan in mind as a way for Eklund to give subtle clues to rumors that are posted, as well as to gauge the likelihood of a rumor turning into an actual trade or free agent signing.
E1 - This is a rumor that comes from a single reliable source not in any way directly connected to the players or teams involved.
E2 - This rumor is simply more than one reliable sources not in any way directly connected to the players or teams involved and not connected to each other. It does not have to equate to two E1's. It could be several E1's.
E3 - This rumor comes from a single source with ties somehow to the players or teams involved.
E4 - This rumor comes from more than one source with ties to the players or teams involved.
E5 - This rumor comes from source telling Eklund the deal is 100% done and just has not been announced yet.
So when Meier was an E4 to NJ it means that multiple sources connected to Meier and/or NJ confirmed this. I am puzzled what E3-4 to St.Louis represents. Its either a single source (E3) or multiple sources (E4). Has to be one or the other. Confusing.

I hate to add intrigue, but...

An e3-4 is a single source having multiple personalities all parroting the same rumor.

I was thinking the E3-4 source could be the same person but communicating from different time dimensions. So either David Poile spilled the beans on Meier, or the father son duo of Jeff and Jakob Chychrun. All known time travellers.

It’s all a goof man. I realize some people actually believe it’s genuine stuff. But it’s just pure entertainment
