If it's me, I consider dealing Swayman as his value is higher than it's ever going to be. He and Ullmark are our only trade pieces worth all that much and if Sway gets markedly more in return I'd do it. Draft cupboard is empty, thanks Donnie, and not a lot out there in FA. I'd be happy to get Bertuzzi back. I'd get murdered for saying that but fkn goalies man, Linus Vezina one year and backup the next. He's very good and we need to build. Depends on who could get more even if LU waives. |

i think given his age of 25 means Bruins can lock in their #1 goalie for 8 years...but the price will be steep..$8 mill AAV ish..Ullmark contract expires in a year and he will want big $ too..but he is 30..perhaps get a high draft pick for him and shed his $5 mill salary...would give them around $26 mill in cap space before signing Swayman..Teams are looking for goalies..
I like Bert too..I like Jake too but if he wants $6 mill or so, not sure i would do that..but he is somewhat reliable..
they need offense big time |

That's the thing with trading Sway aside from the return. I hate paying goalies that much. You don't necessarily need a great one or even a good one to win it and having one means fk all if you don't have a bad ass team in front of you. Murray, Hill, Kuemper and some more ok imo goalies, especially the way the game is played these day. No guarantee JS maintains form either. One has to go, especially with a roster in this much need |

I think Ullmark return would be very good because he won veznia and will be in a contract year. Whoever lands him likely to resign him and have a goalie locked up for 5 more years. They have that Bussi guy who seemed ready for the show in a backup role.
They have some decent kids and poitras coming back and some others ready. Need top end center and wing |

No way in hell I trade Swayman ….Kid has proven to be a #1 and plays with ice water in his veins in the playoffs. I like starting from a position of strength between the pipes, Swayman brings that and will for the foreseeable future. Being an RFA with the threat of arbitration (again) puts the Bruins in somewhat of a position of strength here. Swayman doesn’t want to go through it again, he’s been very open about that. Think it gets done long-term somewhere between $6.75 - 7.5 per. Should be Bruins first order of priority right now. |

2) Gotta trade Ullmark and free up more cap space. He’s got half the league on a no-trade clause and the entire league knows the Bruins are looking to move him, so I expect the return to be underwhelming. Most of the teams on the no trade are rumored to be out west as Ullmark likes the convenience of traveling back to Europe from the east coast. I’d be over the moon with a first round draft pick and no salary retained. Carolina rumored to be interested, the rights to Necas would be a sweet return. Ottawa rumored to be interested as well. The key will be finding a team not on the no trade list. |

Sounds like DeBrusk is a goner as he feels he’s worth more than what Bruins are offering. UFA’s I’m interested in are:
E. Lindholm (5x$6.75)
Guentzel
Reinhart
Marchessault
Bertuzzi (4x$5.25)
Stamkos
Zadorov (5x$5.3)

Pipe dream of the year but some chatter about Brady moving. If so I'm all the way in and Donnie had better be looking into this sh!t.
Hypothetically what would be the price?
I'll start the bidding with JS, 2025 1st and 2nd plus as Premier a prospect as we got. Lysell?
Knives out😂 |

He is a player...
from what I have seen, I don't think Lindholm is a pure # 1 center..hesitant to give him Big long term $

Not gone on Lindholm either, especially long term. Not a 1C and I'd like some snarl and size. Our options may be very limited tho. Some talk of trading for Necas. Rather have EL without giving up anything. Neither are a home run but... |

Carolina needs a #1 goaltender and they have a lot of pieces who are due big raises. Rights to Necas for Ullmark+ makes sense. Wouldn’t hate that move at all. |

I don’t think he’s yet played an NHL game but he’s got that “it” factor where I don’t think the transition is going to be a problem. I think Bussi is going to be a very good NHL goaltender. |

Maybe we can get Skinner in goal. Same numbers as Sway and Igor on an inferior D. Shut down high powered Dallas. Has to be the goalie, 8 for 8 for Stewy. |

Some chatter also about Zegras being available as a possible Bruins target. 🤮🤮🤮🤮
Might add up in Donnie's eyes is my fear. Good reason he could be on the move. |
