LOL Kevyn Adams has always been in over his head. The Sabres are a trainwreck and its no coincidence that so many players win cups AFTER leaving the Buffalo dumpster fire. Shame on Terry Pegula. |

Over paid.
Another flub in asset management. 3rd line center for a 1st rd #1asset. I would think that you’d use Savoi for something better.
I was wanting to see Savoi and Benson on a line together. |

Dude. Fire Adams. This is a brutal trade. Former 9th Overall Pick.
Can you imagine anyone trading McLeod and Whoever for the 9th Pick at the draft? No? Then why do it once you’ve spent development resources on a kid? McLeod wasn’t even the McLeod taken in the first round! That’s his bro! Lol. Smh. Saddle up

Unless Savoie has some major issues we fans don't know about, this is a bad value trade. McLeod is a solid 3C, but just can't see this being the best offer he could get for Savoie. And BUF isn't one solid 3C from contending. Plus Savoie isn't some far off prospect from contributing and might be at the NHL level by this season. Very questionable asset management. |

It's pretty weird to base a players value on where they were selected, as an Oilers fan I can tell you that's a good way to overvalue your player. Not all draft picks at the same position have the same value.

In McLeod's case sure as he is an established NHLer. Savoie is still only 20 and progressing fairly standard for a #9 pick. Not seeing any production issues that imply he is stagnating as a prospect so his value from being selected #9 should remain. And I don't think any GM would trade McLeod for the #9 pick in any draft. |

Such a bad take and I think the Sabres overpaid but basing a trade on where a PROSPECT was drafted is dumb. Savoie is nothing right now. Alex Nylander was a 8th overall pick and bombed. So………. Let’s see how Savoie does in a few years. Then we can assess the trade. Right now yes the Sabres over paid but they got a player that instantly makes them better l, Savoie still has to crack the roster.

Not really sure why the Sabres keep trading away developing players on the never ending rebuild. If there’s any team this kid will succeed on it’ll be the Oilers with the talent they have. Then the Sabres fanbase gets to watch another Reinhardt or Bennett kick arse with another team.
Have to give it to Sabre fans you guys have watched an all out tire fire for well over a decade. No matter who the GM is it’s mismanagement 101. |

I keep hearing Mcleod was one of the fastest skaters on the Oilers. Our team is going to look crazy fast next year, and I think the Rochester skaters are gonna have to play another season with that focus if they want to play on this team. I'm excited because our skill players are good enough (and practiced enough) to play at that fast speed, and we dominated transition hockey 2 years ago, we just slowed down to try to work on defense last year. I think the speed will enhance our game immensely. |

Yes because height automatically means better. That's why we all remember Stu Grimson and Krzysztof Oliwa and simultaneously forget who the heck that loser Marty St. Louis was. Your rationale might work on Bumble, but in hockey this take is ludicrously stupid. |
