so latest on swayman is sweeney wants to give him a bridge deal? 22 for four years, total insult of an offer if true. |

I heard on Chiclets the offer is McAvoy's money on a short term like you said. I also don't think he should be getting 10 Mil per either. I think 8x8 like I've been saying the whole time gets it done. |

This. Dont like the idea of a short term deal. Runs the risk of another DeBrusk situation where he will just test the market. |

If he continues and builds upon his play, then it's a bargain. From the Bruins standpoint this should be a no brainer. If Swayman turns it down, then good luck. He's a an RFA, and the team still has the leverage for now. |

Don't remember how this works. I know that if he isn't signed by December ??, he can't play this season but does he then become an UFA for next season? |

Team has leverage now. When Sway is a UFA it will be a different story. Would rather them hammer out the long term deal. |

I believe you are correct. Although I'm not 100% sure. |

they're treating swayman worse than how Sinden treated Ray Bourque. If they are really offering hime 24 for 4 years as Dupont reported, (in Sweeneys mind a huge raise from the 3.7 per he made last year) I wouldnt blame Swayman for sitting. Even a bridge deal is gonna cost between 7-8 mil. I also wouldnt blame him for not wanting the 8 for 8 deal, he'll be grossly underpaid at the end of it. |
