Sounds like you need to put up or shut up. Gigs yours for the taking. |

I'll do it for free. Assign me one of the 14 teams without a blogger and I'll have intelligent posts in no time.

I think that they could get away with 4 instead of 6.
OR
They could play 2 of the pre-season games in "alternative" sites. Like, A CHL arena or an AHL arena for the affiliates of the teams. This would save season ticket buyers a little.
Also, the Rookie showcases should be part of the greater pre-season. This makes the process more like baseball's spring training, where the games get increasingly "real" as you get closer to the first game of the regular season. |

That’s dumb. But adorable. I’m sure you could. But for free? Honestly. How long would that last? |

As for the topic at hand, preseason made sense when players used those games to get in shape and when guys actually had to compete for roster spots.
Now training occurs all year and rosters are basically set in a cap world. These games are a total waste of time. The comment about seeing future stars in action is also quite an exaggeration. These are split squad rosters with a few NHL players, a bunch of AHL depth, and your top prospects might get 1 or 2 games. |

I offered once and he never replied.
I guess I'm too much of a smartass to be trusted. LOL.
But honestly, I wouldn't have the free time to do a proper job of it.

Florida played Nashville in a doubleheader. Not Tampa. |
