Supposed to be a deep draft. Could be opportunities to move the FLA and EDM pick to move up. Depends on whos available and what other teams think and who they are targeting - xShoot4WarAmpsx
Absolutely and with some luck, I think Ivan Ryabkin has the potential to drop enough to be within reach |

We all know it’s just pre season but he really does look like a special player. - roenick97
Its always interesting how the puck always seems to end up on the stick of the truly great players. Not even sure how it happens so often. Michkov has that uncanny ability the puck just finds him- I can"t explain it

That Michkov kid looks ok - Glak18
It's only preseason. And the teams isn't firing on all their cylinders. (Specially the veterans who know they will make the cut). But he looks like a different animal from every angle. |
|
|
|
Michkov is a load with the man advantage and 3x3. When his teammates learn where to be 5x5 he’ll be more dangerous there too. Letting him drop to #7 is unexcusable.

Sarcasm...
All those tiny little plays he makes that seem like no big deal....special.
If he was a North American player he would of been a tough choice between him and Bedard. |

I think he’s gonna have to find “thing”. The kid is incredible but I think he has the ability to slow the game down and take control and gain respect from opponents. We haven’t seen other players from other teams back off yet. |

I like how TK gave him more focus....this game.
Always good to have options when it comes to pairing players.

About 19 TOI/G
Like everyone says...it's just preseason, but if he continues to play like he has, no injuries and plays with NHL players regularly.
I may change my expectation of 40-45 points to about 65-70 points. |

Biggest thing is he’s made enough of a statement that Torts shouldn’t even look his way, let the kid do his thing |

I'm going to stay conservative and stick with 50 points. If he surpasses, which is certainly possible great. Want avoid setting bar too high and then being disappointed. Elite skill level, no doubt.

I think it's still going to take time to adjust, but it has to be better than last year, right?
Full year of Drysdale and Michkov can't make it worse. I hope.

I'm not going to blame a 19 year for not having a tremendous season, but I think the kid is going to get so many opportunities that based on skill alone he's going to get some points.
Not a big deal, but that first goal he scored, he knocked it out of the air to slam dunk it.
What really is impressive is how he just finds open spots on the ice to pass like it's routine.

You need talent around you though, how besides TK is a reliable point better on this club |

Flyers aren't built to be top heavy like Edmonton, Colorado, Toronto, etc.
If the top 6-7 is averaging 50+ points and they can stick with defensive discipline I think they squeeze into the playoffs.
They do need TK to raise his game and produce more consistently though, getting the PP on track will certainly help that.

I’m just saying there are going to be tough nights for this team offensively. Mid 50s would be a great year for the kid. |

No doubt, I would be extremely happy with mid 50s, but I can also see him realistically get 60-70s if things fall in place.
Foerster-Couturier-Konecny
Tippett-Frost-Michkov
Farabee-Laughton-Brink
For this team to succeed and take the next step is no longer have games where ALL the players have bad games at the same time, which happens way to often in the past 5-6 years. They are going to have to have players step up when others don't while hopefully having the stars (TK, Tippett, Michkov) of the team lead night in and night out.
