I’m currently watching the Alexander Daigle story on ESPN. Sounds like that guy was pushed out of the league, more than not wanting to play. It sounds like he had it in his mind to reach a certain goal like his 30 on top of having a 26 goal season but Roger Nielsen wanted to turn him into more of a defensive player. A checker. He also said nobody loved Hockey more than Eric Lindros.
