5 goals on 23 shots for Pederson today after 2 periods…..how did this guy play to that contract? He’s god awful. - landros 2
As I found out earlier, he annot be sent to the ECHL unless he agrees so he should sit the entire season.... |

Back to back horrible pitches on 2 batters. Whoever called those pitches should 100% be fired. |

I thought we acquired Estevez to be in a closer spot. What gives. |

I'm with you on that. Strahm looked a little scared. Estevez is used to closing.

What an epically bad pitch by the Mets reliever. Has him down in the count and you know Castellano is going to swing at an outside breaking ball. He hangs one on the inside part of the plate. I love it but what a bad pitch. |

I think he just missed with it -- it just didn't break like he wanted to |

That HR pitch was up and out of the zone. Strahm hasn’t been great but I’d credit the hitter there for going out and getting one. It wasn’t a gimme out over the middle of the plate. |

It was on the inside of the plate. Castellanos was guaranteed to chase an outside breaking ball there being behind in the count. Castellanos made him pay. He had a great game at the plate and made a big catch in the outfield. The Phillies bullpen needs to get it together

I think they still are. Good win but I still believe the Mets are going to win the series. The Phillies just haven't been a good team for months.

It was a good pitch selection. Just wasn’t executed. |

I watched episode 1 of the Standard today. I found it nauseating. They really believe they have a standard and a culture in place that matters. It's really sad that they're either unaware of reality or that their fan base is gullible enough to buy it. - MJL
then you should watch episode two, its even better! This is THE STANDARD! |

Castellanos has his faults but he shows up to play every game. He may have been the teams best player in the 2nd half of the season.
