Bill, if Luchanko goes back to Guelph and starts slow, how do you see it impacting his world Junior chances? |

He'll still make it. But his role could be variable. |

Lycksell should be on the team and in the lineup. He's 25 years old and is another player who has shown he has a possibility of being an NHL player but the Flyers lineup is just too good to have room. |

Is the roster that weak? Or are they expecting guys like Cellibrini to stay in the NHl all season. Maybe I’m just not giving Luchanko enough credit? |

How are they going to handle goal in LHV. Can Peterson be sent to the ECHL because that is what he is right now - an ECHL goalie |

Having guys like ND and Poehling over a younger guy, clearly ready to be given a chance, is moronic. Especially a rebuilding team like this one. |

No. Can't send a non-ELC player to the ECHL without his permission. |

At Summer Showcase, he started on 4th line and was on 2nd by the end. |

Please post your 12 player forward lines the flyers should put out in game 1.

" it was at the recommendation of head coach John Tortorella and his staff that the teenager will open the season on the NHL roster."
Co-GM2 is a putz. lets the coach who badly wants to win and make the playoffs dictate at the nhl level.
even funnier peeps still doubt it. I pray he plays at least 10 games. |

RP is 25. - hello it's me 2050
Yea but we know what he is. I’d rather give Lycksell a shot to see what he can bring. Late bloomer maybe |

There could be up to 5 Flyer prospects on team Canada at the world juniors this year. Bonk and Luchanko will be locks…unless Luchanko is still toiling in Philly which would be somewhat surprising. |

ollie isnt a center. as the roster is currently constructed there is no spot for ollie.
its been clear for a long-time ollie, attard, ginning was not in the flyer's plans. clearly to me they do not think much of them. |

sadly, doesn't really lead to much success in the flyers case. |

You can move Laughton to 4C and then there is a spot. One of Laughton or RP should have been traded last season. |

He held his own thereafter, but by no means "broke down the door" (the typical very high bar for a draft-plus-one or draft-plus-two player to break into the NHL right away). At least that's how I see it. Others seem to disagree.
As mentioned before, Torts has his favorites and makes irrational decisions. Luchanko ticks all the boxes to be a Torts favorite and what the "face of the franchise" wants, he gets.
Not the end of the world but a small symptom of the dysfunction of the Flyers at every level. |

All 5 guys are considered pretty solid prospects with more upside to be had. We’ll see, but I always enjoy the Worlds more when there’s a smattering of Flyer prospects to watch. It’s also a chance to see what they are. Against the best of the best, with kids their own age. |

Yea, why I said a few weeks back, trade the kid, he has earned a shot. Hopefully we are surprised and they trade a few pieces by the TDL, and Lycksell gets his shot |

I think ND should be a non factor, break glass only in emergency situation. Ryan P is young, can’t complain about him, but can about the skill set being similar to Laughton and cates, Lycksell could bring something different than those 3 |

Don’t be shocked to see Fedotov waived and demoted and Kolosov brought up after a few weeks if Fedotov remains inconsistent and Kolosov continues to play well.
I very much doubt anyone claims a struggling Fedotov with an aav over 3 million and another full season to go in term. |
