I've only been to Tampa once, but damn, it was chillaxing.

Played golf.

Drank in Ybor City, then rode the antique trolley to the Lightning game. Had beers on the arena's outdoor patio.

Watched a football game on an outdoor deck, while also keeping an eye on the dolphins jumping in the bay behind the bar.

Swam in the ocean.

Ate fresh fish.

10/10, would visit again.

1.5 years of Tree and the leafs have what seems to be quality goalie depth and D depth.

Having positions filled doesn't mean they're high quality fillings.

Woll is still effectively a rookie in terms of experience and can never stay healthy for an entire season.

Stolarz is a journeyman who had a career year last year, unlikely to repeat it and again, has never played a full season.

Murray is possibly on his last good leg after major hip surgeries.

And then three or more unknown rookies in the AHL with zero NHL experience.

I don't see that as depth. I see that as 6 lottery tickets.

Same could be said about the D. The positions are filled but the quality is lackluster.

I think eventually he'll be moved, need to make space when Hakenpaa and Dewar come off LTIR.

I’m guessing they figured out a way to hold him so they can move him without looking hopeful.

They were much better off moving him before he had his current contract. Now he just looks like an anchor or salary dump. Doubt anybody takes him in his current state and he's just going to have to play his way out of his negative value.

Likely a better 4th liner than Reaves?
