Last but not least but I am curious on everyone's opinion on this. This is a touchy subject but I have read and heard quite a few comments elsewhere but with the NHL giving CBJ a reprieve for not meeting the basement due to the unfortunate circumstances of #13 R.I.P. and pissing away Laine to the Habs for a 3-foot Dollarama type-C charge cord, they are 1.5 under, no? That said, why can't they just sign Phil Kessel? Pretty sure he'll put down his hand of cards to hit the elusive 1000 pt mark.

#1. 35 millyish on 3 guys that can't record a point in the 1st 2 games. WTF?! - Tee-Dot
People worked up about this should be a soap opera’s character.
Shut out by a goalie with damn near 50 saves in game 1, the offence was fine, and then the top end boys were shut down in game 2 because their former coach, you know the one that taught them the majority of their offensive strength specifics, was against them.
I’m not expecting it, but I have a feeling we’ll see top end offence from the leafs tonight.

I would agree with this. Interesting fact: the last time the Leafs lost 1-0 in their first game of the season? 1967 The player who scored Leafs first goal this year wears #67

If they do, this year will be the first time they made the playoffs 9x in a row since 67’
