Jared Tinordi (two assists in three games) is Flames property now and can't hurt them anymore.

Funny, the Hawks say the same thing about him.

From what I've heard, he's a really nice guy, but he's pretty limited as a player. Should be a fun game to watch. I like that Calgary has started off well so far. I got to visit the area before heading to Banff this summer (before the fire in Jasper). Fun place.

Don't have the time to sift through the records, but I wonder what Chicago's record was with Tinordi in the lineup. He's -4 in two games with the Wranglers this season. :'(

Considering they only won 23 games last year, doesn't really matter does it?

The Hawks board was fun to read last year especially when he dressed over one of the prospects. That said, there were so many injuries last year it didn't really matter much.

We can’t keep losing to the Hawks, that element of the team is gone. Replaced by pride and effort.
I’m really mixed with the Flames so far. On one hand,I love watching them win, especially with the way they’ve won. But on the other hand, I really am hoping for a top 5 pick this year and next.
I know Conny said he’d like to see a Dallas rebuild not a Buffalo one, but I really wasn’t expecting this success.
Best comment I heard at the battle of Alberta was “ too bad the Oilers rebuild hasn’t gone as quickly as the Flames rebuild”.

Kids are playing well, our D is outstanding and the goalies haven’t disappointed. If you had told me Huberdeau would start on a 100+ pace, I would but Mantha and Pospisil have him going.

Good game last night! It's amazing what solid structure can do for your team.

Be happy. Hoping/playing for a top 5 pick is no way to go through life. If your team is playing well and building a winning culture, take that and run with it. There are more ways to add players than just the draft.
