I have no doubt if Tippet was 2 feet from the net. He’s still freaking missing the net. He is disastrous on shot accuracy - jd250

It must be an organizational goal to get Johnson to 1000 games for his long contributions to the team. - Trox88
The Keith Yandle project & caper was a great publicity stunt. Let's bring in Kessel to set new iron man records! |

Another foolish post.
EJ has zero value. He was cooked last season is cooked now. He doesn’t help any team at this point.
Risto is a harder sell lol. He is unmovable. No team is taking that term and money for a 3rd pair defenseman. Unless it is am equally bad contract. There will be many better cheaper options available.
Keep thinking the Flyers trash have value. - furio16
Someone would def be interested in Risto retained. GMs love their bid Dmen. People would have said L.Schenn was unrosterable and he continued to get signed, he has even been better than he was here.
Brassard was cooked, we still managed to move him. Wont bring anything of huge value but teams would easily take him as a 8th D for playoffs.

i want to believe in frost since he seems to have some chemistry with Michkov but they can't put it in
Farabee... wish he'd get some scoring touch
Tippett needs to hit the net - 2Real
I'm starting to wonder with the dip in 5 on 5 play that goes back to last season, if the Torts circus is wearing thin. A player is required to block shots and with that if you're not a Torts favorite the doghouse is always available. Same team and coaching staff that has won nothing into year 3, but that "culture" is doing great.

Looks like a horrible assembled roster with no high-end guys right now. Drafting middling players at "best"shows it's ugly face. |

Risto's got two-years left after this season... the term will scare everybody away. Nobody wants to lock in a poopty 3rd-pair guy for that long at $2.55M per.
Luke Schenn was making near league minimum for quite a few years. |

Yeah they can definitely use Ristos playoff experience. Maybe package him and Poehlig for a 1st.
Luke Schenn has always been an NHL level defenseman. Did he have 3 years and making over 5 million when he was traded the last few years? He was always on a 1 year deal making peanuts. See the difference?
Who knows maybe they can still trade TK right? Get that top line center. |

He wont play every game. Flyers likely doing the same thing they did with Yandle, getting him to 1000 games and then hes done. 8 Games to go. Seeler is prabably ready within the next two games as well. If the plan is to get him those games Zamula probably comes out. - xShoot4WarAmpsx
The commitment to Yandle getting his milestone was an organizational embarrassment. He wasn't an NHL defenseman and the Flyers unintentionally tanked that season due to that commitment. I truly believe they had no intention to sit him even then except the pressure from the fans and media was getting pretty loud. If i remember correctly Yandle was pissed they finally sat him and it helped end Vigneault's coaching career. |
