Great win tonight.

Honestly, it was probably the best they’ve looked all season. They looked like a different team tonight. They had life, they played hard, they never went flat. 30+ shots on goal. A couple Kastelic fights. You could see the powerplay improving with each consecutive chance. Almost like the guys were starting to loosen up.

Make of it what you will, but tonight was probably their most complete game of the season. Korpisalo was great. Lohrei looked more poised and comfortable. Great to see Merkulov get a real chance on the powerplay.

Great stuff all around, hopefully a sign of better things to come.
