Absolutely a great target but does Columbus even want to trade him? If so probably take more than a 3rd & a 4th.

Also after the Colorado hammering by Tampa, what about Vladar & Brz for Georgiev & Ritchie?

Yeah, some of my Columbus people are saying Don Waddell is working towards an extension for him already. Maybe a third and a fifth doesn't get it done.

Definitely like the idea of squeezing Jiricek out of there! Would require a lot of assets. Not sure if the Flames fanbase is ready for another Ritchie. Hah

Not getting Olivier, should have targeted him last year. How about Rempe? Calgary kid playing in the minors, would love to see him in a battle of Alberta

Don't get me wrong, he is a great player and a competitor. But almost as many plays die on his stick as with Huberdeau. I feel like with us having Huberdeau, we don't need another guy who specializes in low-possibility plays......

Anyways, hope they get back to their winning ways in Detroit.

Love to get that Rempe kid. Colorado really need to do something about goaltending. Seravelli is saying it would take a 2nd round pick to get Vladar. For a 2nd round pick I'd rather keep Vladar

Vlad is a pending UFA at seasons end, he'll want a raise and to start next year so IMO trading him is 100% the right play if a 2nd is on the table.
Wolf is the man now and Cooley is signed through next year.

No chance I give up on Parekh at 18 years old. If our scouts like Jirecek, we have enough depth to put together a package for Jiricek without including Parekh (Poirier, Morin, Pelts the Vlad 2nd etc)

You know was thinking! The Flames are in need of a high ceiling centre in our pipeline & Ritchie is tearing up the O. Av's need a goalie & they need cap space something fierce, not for just this year but they need to give Rantanen a monster contract to keep him come July. It sounds more & more like Landeskog may be done, I think I read he had a setback on his return. What if we took back Ritchie & Landeskog for Vladar at 50%? If Landy knows he's done & is going to ride out his last 4 years on the IR, he wont care if its IR in Calgary or Colorado. Meantime Flames could easily carry his cap hit & it wont even bug Edwards cause that 7.0 mill per is insured & Flames wont need that space for at least 2-3 years. Maybe its time for Connie to weaponize that cap space.

Conroy is going to have to weaponize that cap space if they are avoiding a big tank. I am trying to think of any young 1C that has come on the market recenly and the only guy I can think of is Tage Thompson.

He has his work cut out.

Kadri is absolutely brutal. Never sticks up for any line mates, never wins an important draw, never covers his man. We need to trade his ass to anybody
