If Jeff Carter and Ian Laperriere come back, where would you put them.? Honestly, the only place I can see putting Carter is with Giroux and Van Riemsdyk. Asham hasn't been producing that much anyway. As for Lappy, you would have no choice but to put him with Betts and Powe. As much as I liked Nodl's effort so far in these playoffs, Lappy fits that role a little better than him. Some might say put Carter with Richards. I don't know about that because I feel he doens't fit well in a line with Gagne. It's better with Giroux because Van Riemsdyk is good, but he's not experienced enough to be a quality scorer for a line. Carter will get the puck in the net for Claude. And you can't mess up Briere's line right now. I think it's been the best line in hockey the past week.

You're probably right, but I would also consider Carter in place of Carcillo. You don't really need Carcillo against Mtl. Nodl for sure should come out of the line-up though when either of them is ready.

Yea, actually I agree. Maybe putting Carter with Richards and Gagne would be better. I just thought it probably would have been more balanced putting him with Giroux and Van Riemsdyk, but Carcillo hasn't really done anything since the New Jersey series. Richards with 2 snipers would be deadly, and seeing how Carter is 6'3", he could get past Montreal's defense a little easier then some. Considering he's fresh and ready to go. Laperriere is a no brainer. He's going with Betts and Powe. |

As long as they dont screw up Briere's line I could care less where Carter plays, or if he plays at all for that matter.
I just want Lappy in the lineup. |

fair enough. Either way it does appear as if Carter is playing with Richards. i'm just a little shocked they scratched Carcillo and not Asham. Gagne-Richards-Carter line does seem deadly. |
