Jeremy Laura: Wings fall to Leafs in final preseason matchup

Glad that the pre-season is over. A few of the prospects looked good, the goalies looked fine but most of the vet top 6 forwards just looked like they didn't care and were just trying to play not to get injured.

We'll see how it goes in the first 10 games but i'm not that optimistic about this team after this off-season. I think the defense itself is still a big issue along with the coaching on team defense.

Holl just hit waivers, I doubt he is claimed. Yzerman making room for a 13th forward. Watson or Kasper?
